This information notice for processing personal data of members (“Information Notice”) has been issued by Orbit Tekstil Danışmanlığı Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (“Company”) which acts as the data controller pursuant to the Law no. 6698 on Personal Data Protection (“Law”) as required by Article 10 of the Law and Communique on Terms and Procedures to comply with the fulfilment of Information Notice Obligation. a. Your personal data processed under your membership registration Your personal data in the categories below that you have provided us by completing the form at www.theorbitconsulting.com shall be processed by means of fully or partially through automatic methods as described below in the course of the performance of the agreement between the Company and you. Personal Data Category Your above-mentioned personal data shall be processed for the following purposes: ❖ To conduct data security processes ❖ To carry out operations in line with the applicable legislation ❖ To perform financial and accounting procedures ❖ To handle and conduct legal affairs ❖ To handle contact and communication ❖ To provide aftermarket services for products/ services ❖ To handle sales process of products/ services ❖ To offer services under the agreement ❖ To undertake customer relations management ❖ To conduct customer satisfaction activities ❖ To handle agreement related processes ❖ To track demands/ complaints ❖ To supply information to competent authorities and individuals Your personal data referred to above shall be processed under your membership registration on the basis of conditions for processing your personal data pursuant to Article 5/2 of the Law (“processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract, is necessary provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or fulfilment of that contract“) and your invoicing data (name-surname, invoice address) shall be processed on the basis of conditions for processing your personal data pursuant to the same paragraph (“it is mandatory for the controller to be able to perform his legal obligations”). Your personal data collected for your membership registration shall be transferred to suppliers and competent public authorities and bodies to the extent limited to what is required to achieve the above-mentioned purposes of processing. b. Your personal data processed under your free e-bulletin membership If, concurrent with, or independent of, your membership registration, you inform us that you wish to receive free e-bulletin to get news about promotions and events organized by the Company, your name, surname and e-mail address shall be processed for the purpose of conducting advertising/ campaign/promotion by the Company by means of fully through automatic methods in line with your explicit consent in this respect, and shall be transferred to suppliers to the extent limited to what is required to achieve this purpose of processing. In case you inform the Company that you wish to opt out of free e-bulletin membership, your personal data will be no longer used for this purpose with effect from the processing of your such request. Your requests under Article 11 of the Law on processing your personal data which govern the rights of the data subject may be sent by you to the Company in line with the Communique on Terms and Procedures for Application to Data Controller.
